Welcome international students and scholars!
Students and scholars are invited to contact OIP in the following ways:
- Appointments are made for specific times with specific advisors. If your discussion involves changing status, extensions, student OPT application submissions, a reduced courseload, or any other complex situation, please make an appointment by calling 202-687-5867.
- Walk-in consultations are for quick 10-15 minute discussions on student issues. Scholars may use this time to request travel signatures. You will receive assistance on a first-come-first-served basis with the IS Advisor on duty.
Students
Students may meet with an IS Advisor during walk-in periods or by appointment.
Scholars
Scholars may meet with their IS Advisor during scheduled appointment times. Scholars may request travel signatures either during scheduled appointments or during student walk-in advising periods.
