About the Georgetown University Gospel
Choir Music Ministry
FOUNDED: In 1980

WHAT WE DO: Minister and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through
song
WHAT WE SING: Traditional and contemporary gospel, spirituals
WORSHIP MINISTRY: Every 1st and 3rd Sunday at the 6 p.m. worship
service in St. Williams Chapel
CHOIR PRACTICE: Thursdays at 7p.m. in Dahlgren Chapel
MEMBERSHIP: Comprised of students, faculty, staff, alumni
ACTIVITIES: Weekly Bible Study, choir fellowships, community service
EVENTS: Two choir concerts (Fall and Spring)
ENGAGEMENTS: The gospel choir has ministered as the John F. Kennedy
Center, local churches and a host of on- and off-campus events
