For Students

This area of our site is designed to give additional information that might be helpful for students, whether they want to apply to be on the Honor Council, have been accused of an Honor System violation, or are completing a sanction reduction plan.

Area Sections:

  • Helpful information when accused: A collection of links to other areas of our site that should be especially helpful for students facing an allegation.
  • Student Experiences: A collection of anonymous essays written by students who have been found in violation and have completed sanction reduction plans.  These students frankly describe what led up to their violation and how they've grown from the experience.
  • Student Consultants: Contact information of Honor Council student members willing to confidentially discuss anything regarding the Honor System.
  • Sanction Reduction: A detailed description of the process students can go through to remove a sanction of "letter of censure" or "notation on transcript" from their permanent records.
  • Honor Council application: A .doc file for students wishing to join the Honor Council.  If you have questions about what membership entails, feel free to contact us.
