Georgetown University Registrar | Transcripts Transcripts Transcript Request Form

Transcripts may be requested by mail, fax, or in person at the University Registrar. To meet FERPA guidelines, transcripts may not be requested by email. Please use the transcript request form to request a transcript. Third parties (employers, government agencies) requesting transcripts must present a release signed by the student.  Students taking courses at Georgetown through the Washington DC Consortium must request their transcripts from their home schools.

Law Center and Medical Center students must request transcripts from their respective Registrar.

The following transcripts are available:

Official transcripts with Georgetown seal and University Registrar signature:

Allow two business days for processing after receipt by the University Registrar.

Unofficial transcripts printed by the student (current or previous) from MyAccess:

If you know their NetID and password you may log in and print your student record.
If you never had a NetID (and graduated after 1979), you should contact the Alumni Records Office for a registration number to create a NetID and password.

Note: An alumnus or alumna who reset their NetID password online using a hint question will also need to complete and fax this form to 202-687-1162 before using MyAccess.

Conditions
The University will not issue a transcript which reflects less than the complete student record. Academic transcripts will not be issued when unsatisfied financial obligations to the University exist. Transcripts will only be made available by pick-up (with picture ID) or mail. Transcripts may not be faxed.

Transcripts are available year-round except for current students at the end of the semester during grade processing. Due to the volume of requests received during peak periods, the University Registrar's Office will send no more than twenty transcripts per student, per day to be able to serve as many students as possible. Students can expedite the process by providing address labels for multiple destinations.
