The University provides space for the projects of the LIS component of the Kennedy Institute of Ethics.

Max M. and Marjorie B. Kampelman, Washington, DC

The Kampelman endowment provides for the continued development of the special collection of books, journals, and audiovisuals on Jewish ethics.

Joseph P. Kennedy, Jr. Foundation, Washington, DC

The Kennedy Foundation provided crucial funding for the establishment of the Ethics Library and its first decade of operations.

National Endowment for the Humanities, Washington, DC

An NEH challenge grant resulted in an endowment which now provides general support for LIS operations.

National Human Genome Research Institute, Bethesda, MD

A 1994 NHGRI grant provided for the establishment of the National Information Resource on Ethics and Human Genetics.

National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, MD

The Institutes together supported the tenth year of the Bioethics Information Retrieval Project, and in 1992 a two-year Shannon (i.e. Director's) Award supported library operations on genetics and ethics.

National Library of Medicine, Bethesda, MD

NLM contracts with the Kennedy Institute to operate the Bioethics Information Retrieval Project (1974 to present) and the National Reference Center for Bioethics Literature (1985 to present).
